Job Description

Managing attorney for the Ava District Office. This four-attorney office handles cases in Douglas, Ozark, and Wright counties. In addition to caseload responsibilities, the District Defender is responsible for:

• Case assignments
• Monitoring of employee performance
• Hiring
• Development and implementation of office policies

Qualifications

Must be a member of the Missouri Bar and have criminal law experience. Management experience preferred.
