District Defender – Hillsboro Trial Office

Salary: $7,470/month

Job Description: The District Defender serves as the managing attorney for the Hillsboro District Office. This 10-attorney office handles cases in Jefferson County. In addition to caseload responsibilities, the District Defender is responsible for:

• Case assignments
• Monitoring employee performance
• Hiring
• Development and implementation of office policies

Qualifications: Must be a member of the Missouri Bar and have criminal law experience. Management experience preferred.
