District Defender – Kennett Trial Office

Salary: $8,740/month

Job Description: The District Defender serves as the managing attorney for the Kennett District Office. This five-attorney office handles cases in Dunklin County. In addition to caseload responsibilities, the District Defender is responsible for:

• Case assignments
• Monitoring employee performance
• Hiring
• Development and implementation of office policies

Qualifications: Must be a member of the Missouri Bar and have criminal law experience. Management experience preferred.
