St. Louis Capital Office

Salary: $7,470/month. In addition, individual will receive capital differential of $500/month as capital associate or $1000/month as capital lead.

Job Description: Managing attorney for the Eastern Capital Office in St. Louis. This six-attorney office handles the preparation and trial of guilt and penalty phases of capital murder cases throughout the state. In addition to caseload responsibilities, the District Defender is responsible for case assignments, monitoring of employee performance, hiring and development and implementation of office policies.

Qualifications: Must be a member of the Missouri Bar; management experience preferred; murder trial experience preferred.
