Disposition Specialist

Salary: $3,733/month

Job Description: Individual is responsible for assisting counsel in preparing for and litigating cases in St. Louis City, County, and St. Charles. Duties include interviewing clients, conducting social histories, obtaining records, networking with community resources for client referral, assisting counsel in challenging court referrals to detention, commitment to DYS or certification of adult court; writing persuasive alternative disposition and treatment plans; and identifying appropriate educational, substance abuse, and mental health placements.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in psychology, social work, sociology, or closely related field; Masters in Social Work preferred.
