Disposition Specialist
Salary: $3,733/month
Job Description: The Disposition Specialist is responsible for assisting counsel in preparing for and litigating cases in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County. Duties include:
- Interviewing clients and conducting social histories
- Obtaining records
- Networking with community resources for client referral
- Assisting counsel in challenging court referrals to detention, commitment to DYS, or certification to adult court
- Writing persuasive alternative disposition and treatment plans
- Identifying appropriate educational, substance abuse, and mental health placements
Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in psychology, social work, sociology, or a closely related field. Master of Social Work preferred.
