Salary: $7,252.80/month

Job Description: The District Defender serves as the managing attorney for the Children’s Defense Team office in Kansas City. This office handles cases in Jackson County. In addition to caseload responsibilities, the District Defender is responsible for:

• Case assignments
• Monitoring employee performance
• Hiring
• Development and implementation of office policies

Qualifications: Must be a member of the Missouri Bar and have criminal law experience. Management experience preferred, as well as experience representing children in delinquency matters.
