Financial Specialist – Accounting

Salary: $40,176 – $48,156, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Job Description: Individual performs a variety of fiscal functions with responsibilities in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Will be responsible for processing employee expense reports and vendor invoices; reconciling financial reports; addressing lien and recoupment issues. Includes significant phone contact with clients and vendors.

Successful candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, 10-key experience; knowledge of accounting procedures and practices; strong organizational and attention to detail skills; and good written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, public or business administration or closely related areas. Progressively responsible work experience in closely related areas may be substituted on a year for year basis for education requirements. Knowledge of State of Missouri SAM II system a plus.
