Office Support Assistant (Part Time)

Salary: $1,520.25–$1,689.75/month, depending upon experience. This position offers state benefits including retirement plan, health and life insurance options, and paid time off.

Job Description: Duties include:

  • Closing cases, processing invoices, and releasing client files
  • Serving as receptionist and handling incoming calls
  • Processing outgoing mail and shipping packages
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Work Hours: 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Must be available to work afternoons until 5:00 p.m. at least 3 days per week.

Individual must have excellent interpersonal and attention-to-detail skills, be self-motivated, and support the mission of the public defender to provide zealous representation to our clients.

Qualifications: One year of professional or technical work experience. Preferred candidates will have Microsoft Office experience.
