Technical and Administrative Specialist
Salary range is $33,276 – $43,140 per year, based on experience.
Job Description: The Missouri State Public Defender is hiring a Technical and Administrative Specialist in the Training Division of the Missouri State Public Defender. Position will be located in the Columbia Director’s Office.
Technical duties include assisting with distance learning, computer training, newsletter publication and digital media, and performing other training functions to assist with departmental needs.
Duties will also include coordinating logistics for training events including booking flights and making lodging arrangements for conference attendees; serving as registration coordinator at training functions; maintaining digital files and performing data entry in online database.
Individual must have proficient technical computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; be self-motivated and willing to work on a collaborative team. Must also support the mission of the public defender to provide zealous representation to our clients and effective training to each employee. Position will require occasional overnight travel to attend training events.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from college, plus one year professional or technical work experience. Relevant work experience can be substituted for the educational requirements.
